I am 15-20 mins away....funny, I have never met Shawn but know Aret fairly well. We should get together for a drive sometime. I didn't know you were so close.
It's possible that's one of their cars that they've had forever. I know several of those....and I also know that most of the cars on their website are long gone.
Sounds like a plan. Ever since Ilko moved away my drives are less frequent and I spend more time working on cars than driving. I know both Aret and Shawn through C&C events, Mutual friends and visiting their place of business to look at cars for others. They told me they see themselves as collectors who sell cars from time to time. So cars may sit for years and they will bring them to events or drive them. AS with any purchase a PPI is a must.
I guess no one noticed or was bothered by the mess of wheels front to back and side to side. Looks like Mille Millia or Maxilites on one side, maybe Borbets on the other side. Very different looking spokes, but if you don't know, you don't know.

I assumed my eyes were playing tricks on me given Tareks rep, but I noticed this immediately as well. Very odd.

Hey Vandit & TJ , it looks like 1 of the wheels got mixed up, a MM with the rest being Borbets, BIG DEAL..i didn't notice it till after the pics, easy swap, i have 3-4 sets of these reps..So don't get your panties in a bunch over it & try to make a story out of it...
Wheels aside, hell I’m a picky fk and didn’t notice it in person, the white 993 and 964 he sold are both really nice cars. Someone is getting a nice one.

It wasn't a personal attack or tinder for an anti-Tarek narrative. I didn't call it out, and I've done nothing but promote your "brand" here and elsewhere. Im not sure that agreeing with an observation which was in the spirit of this thread qualifies as "panties in a bunch," but Im sorry it offended you so deeply.
^^ located in MA with NJ plates and claims 12k miles? Also has a 993 top which looks old. ?? there is a really clean Horizon blue over black cab we see at our C&C's if we had them. This one would be worth buying.

A C2 Manual 94 in Amazon green, all stock with its 16" cup 1s, sold at Mecum this past weekend for $34k. Where were y'all?

Need more details. Lot number, etc. Coupe, targa, cab? Mecum is not the best place to sell these cars. Miles, condition etc. Sounds like someone might have gotten a deal.
