Seems a bit cheap for the miles and being a 93 C2. Wheels are not original and only one picture. Must be a story here someplace.

what better way to spend a retirement than to play with full-size toys all day. if you have that level of time, i think it's a fantastic idea.
I already spend most of my time working on these for myself and others although more of a hobby and a way to pass time than anything at this point. I am trying to figure if I should start buying cars with needs and give them the full once over or offer a service. I can have my friend Pino do the paint work while I do all the prep and R&I. A full engine rebuild which I do quite often already. I can then provide Leak down/compression and dyno results with full documentation. With the price of cars with needs it is hard to make it worth my while at a selling point of $99k assuming people will buy them at this price without a low 5 digit odo reading. I am seeing a lot of interest in modified 964's with all the bells and whistles and looking like they just came off the showroom floor. Still trying to figure it out but the day may come.

Hello gents,
that 1993 I took a gander at but it seems to not present very well from what Im gathering in the photos. While im not entirely sure the wheels look to be aftermarket cup style and the dealer wasn't very helpful in the past when i was asking about paint readings and details. Frankly they didn't seem to know the 911's of any vintage very well, quite friendly chaps though! After a quick glance on their site, the carfax report has a significant odometer rollback which based off the photos makes sense. It just 'feels' like a very high milage car if that makes sense. The old lady and I have looked at literally dozens across north america so while nowhere close to being an expert like many of you on here, I have learned to keep an eye out for certain areas.

We landed on an off the market, very low milage and rare color. Couldn't be happier to take delivery once the project is complete.

Happy holidays!

i know this is capitalism at its best (or worst), but the way this artificially inflates certain model markets is ****ing irritating. it simply takes cars off the market, stashing them for a period of time, waiting for the market to catch up to the dealer's speculation. in the meantime, no one enjoys the car. not to mention, it reduces the number of realistically priced cars on the market, allowing for an increase in those prices as well. if you're an owner, this works. if you're trying to buy into a model, it all works against you.

Sorry with 32k miles they are smoking crack. $160K for a C4 widebody, it isn't mileage in the teens. That is 3.3l Turbo money which IMO is a better value. Although dealerships do grab the attention of the deep pocket market that doesn't bother with the internet and someone might be taken in by it. There was a similar mile and condition America roadster asking similar money at a local Lambo dealer. I heard they got close to asking.

agreed. i know the 964WBs are rare, but we're in the range of perfect 993tt, over the 3.3turbo market and getting close to the 3.6turbo market.
crack indeed!

People paying current air cooled prices are going in for the long haul. It is not worth all that coin..

i absolutely want to bring a 964 back into the fold, but i simply won't do it at these prices. i'm hoping the market adjusts this coming year a bit and maybe then i'll jump. if not, there are plenty of other options on the garage bucket list.

This! Hope we see more cars like this on the market. Good, fair price.
A sorted 964, with lots of "driver" bits to sharpen it up and make it into a serious, little needs road car (instead of the usual soft and neglected 964).
The 964 can pull off so many cool colors.

^^^ nice car reasonable price considering the work done although I am fairly confident it did have some paintwork but done to high standard.

That rear wiper placement is bothering my OCD.
