Well $7500+ later she's road worthy a fellow Rennlister from Houston came down and inspected the car thoroughly, up on the lift, drove quite a bit,and lots of questions with the mechanic. Bought the car on the spot and arranged an enclosed transport back to Houston. The buyer said he currently owns a low mileage beautiful 993 and would like to preserve it (last model year) and with this branded titled C4 he'll drive it everyday without fear, lol

sorry I made an error I thought i commented on my original post. Yeah I bought a non running rebuilt titled c4 (68k orig miles) that sat for 8 years as the previous owner hit a tree and damaged the front end (bumper damage only), bought it to also lessen the wear and tear on my Cup Car and fully built 996 tt. Decided that my other toys need to be driven more so I put the c4 up for sale buried somewhere here. Took a long time (almost 3-4 months) for the shop to finish it due to a pesky idle issues after so much ruling out possible culprits (dme,plugs,distributor,etc...) it was a grounding issue. The buyer intended to daily drive the car to preserve his last model year 993. Great daily mule.

I remember this. I was 3rd in line according to the seller, but one of the two before took them. The other car was polar silver. Looks like they cleaned it up alot and did some nice work on it. I wonder when we will see the other one.
