Beware of this bad eBay seller. He canceled the auction after it ended and I had won the car. eBay said their car sales are not binding or enforceable. All I could do was give him negative feedback. So I left a note saying he did not honor the sale and eBay let him hide the negative feedback. Note the listing says the car had a salvage title from a no big deal front fender damage that occurred in transport.
ebay doesn't stand behind their auction results at all - pretty pathetic really. i would imagine it would be far too time-consuming for them, if they did - near constant arbitration. too many people out there not honoring results, simply advertising, and ending auctions whenever they like.
what's the consensus. up or down in value? re: the 964.
i remain bullish on future values of nice examples. the supply (esp. C2's ) in Canada is almost non-existent.

In general, most 964 pricing has finally started to stabilize. The good later model C2 Coupes (5spd) will always command premiums over the rest and should maintain their value over the years.
The limited edition (Turbo, Speedster, RS) market is all over the place. The big collectors will pay top $$$ for near perfect examples in rare colors and I'm sure these will continue to be good investments. Not sure about the driver quality vehicle pricing though...for example $110k for a 70k mile RS America with 5 owners that has obviously been tracked.

Doubtful that you will find any consensus. However, I don't see anything slowing down unless torpedoed by a macro event.
The folks who lusted after 964's are reaching an age where they're coming into the prime of their disposable income earning years, while the older folks who saw the 964 as an ugly duckling usurping the beauty of impact bumpers are having their AOL accounts closed and can't socialize their opinions as efficiently.
