Not really sure this is a "trend." Any air cooled Porsche in this condition/miles is going to command a premium and probably six figures. The possible exception may have been the the 2.7's and most notably the MY75-77 as the MY74 have kind of separated themselves from the pack. The MY89.5 is the least desirable of all the 64's for a myriad of reasons. The market is still very strong for true grade 1 collector cars, as less of them seem to come to market every year.

Let's not kid ourselves, this was a $50k car 10 years ago, tops. The days of picking up a used beater for $20k are over too, and even though I enjoy mine on a daily basis and have had (and have) plenty of "collector" cars that's still a nice trend!

This car looks OK to me, but man, what a weird spec. OK, 4 options available: LSD, sunroof, radio, AC. So let's spec the sunroof and LSD. If you're going for light, no sunroof!!! Weird. But a radio was added...

RSA to me has NO additional value unless it's a no sunroof car. Its the same as a C2 with manual steering.

But no sunroof from the factory would be cool.

I'll be surprised if this one breaks 85k.

A lister point out that this link did not work when I sent out previously. Paints is great no scuffs, he also noticed a tree reflection in the pic that looked like a scuff.

Contact me off list for more photos and complete pdf service history.

The price delta is still less than that of the Club Sport relative to its 3.2 counterpart. But I agree in general typically overvalued.

Default 91 C2

Hello,

I have been on the hunt for a while and found this one locally at a used/consignment dealer if you guys could pick it apart for me...

http://www.gtautolounge.com/vehicle-details/1991-porsche-911-carrera-2-coupe-8214b7cd21594d4ba6117f3d1bdbcbf8/

If I get serious about the car then I might make a dedicated thread. First concerns are paint/body due to previous collision and almost 100k miles with no reported rebuild or reseal.

That Miami car looks like it's been in one heck on an accident at some point.

Yes but the 3.2 CS I'd be more interested in. Much more rare.
We got screwed on the RSA here, shoulda shipped the RS to these shores.
