Thanks for all the video updates... I'm enjoying them!
Any updated estimates when you'll be on the dyno? Also, do you have plans to offer a kit for swapping the 01E transmission as well? Got me thinking...
Thanks! Hoping to be on the dyno before the end of the month, but it’s going to be tight for sure. Project 9 is developing a swap kit for the 01E so we decided not to. He actually posted a picture of his prototype torque tube coupler today.
Slightly off topic but I'm looking for a cheap dd...
The 07k is great, but how are the VWs wrapped around them for reliability and driving enjoyment?
For a cheap daily, the later model Mazda 6 is a great choice. A bit under powered but handle great and have the same design language as the Miata. Was my daily for years.
My Toyota 4Runner has only let me down twice in 7 years. Once when the frame rusted through, and the last when the transmission let go. Had it welded, & bypassed the radiator (they're faulty) do decent undercoating and they're indestructible. But, for cars, up here I see a lot of Subaru, Jetta/Passat, and the generic Camry/Civic/Focus type sedans.

My brother has a 2012 Jetta with the 07K, 220k miles with only routine maintenance. He also has a nice AWE cat-back that sounds excellent. I have a ‘14 GLI with 160K miles on the Gen 3 2.0 and it’s been great, fun and comfy.
