I will update the ignition thread, and my website shortly.
Cannot thank you enough for all your help on this. I appreciate the development work you have done on what I believe will prove to be very effective ignition option for our cars. An option that is very low cost with 3X the energy of the stock setup at redline.

Got some interesting info today. MSD notified me that my HVC II coil was BAD! They said it could not be repaired and they shipped me a new unit. It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Finished up the fab work for my 3 inch exhaust tonight. Everything is tacked and I am really happy with the fitment. Tomorrow I will finish up all the welds.

I'll give you a tip. Weld as much as you can on the car. Because It'll move and things wont line up.

Why? The exhaust line needs degrees of movements to avoid breaking.

When welded in place, There would be less movement with the exhaust as it can pull. when doing my Xover pipe and wastegate pipe, we had issues welding it off the car because it just kept moving. We did it on the car and now it fits very well. You weld as much as you can on the car then you can take it off and finish it off and shouldn't move

I totally agree! Did the same thing on my old exhaust and that went perfect! We've tried it out on other cars by welding it on the ground but we had to redo it all the time..

Knowing how quick you are Shawn I'm thinking this is moot, but I had a similar experience with a custom exhaust on an old Datsun. Trying to weld it off the car had the guy taking it off again and putting it on a bunch of times. I suggested doing it on the car and it went a lot smoother. Also, I bought a used custom exhaust from Lart quite a while ago which was welded on his car. I couldn't believe how perfectly everything lined up when I put it on my car.

Anyone ever fry the DME or other electronics by welding on the car?

Never,
I always clamp the the clamp as close to what i'm welding, on what i'm welding. And to disconnect the battery
