Yes, I would wait a week or two until we understand exactly what the cause is.

All of these dang threads about 3.xL motors is making me curious...
Time to go all in.

Thanks again for all your help. It very well could be a "Might Suddenly Die" issue.

Fantastic news Shawn, I couldn't be happier for you! I've been watching this closely but not saying anything until I saw it reach its resolution. Go drive the damn thing now and try not to get yourself killed! Can't wait to see dyno results with a bit higher boost. Would you say you are over 450 to the wheels on 15 psi?

Really? Wonder if Summit will let me return my HVC-II?

Great news on the solution though Shawn!

Great to hear you are finally able to enjoy it.

Now the real fun is about to begin - tuning!
Interested to hear at what RPM you reach peak boost and the level of backpressure you get.

Congratulations on figuring it out and thanks for sharing it with us. It helps us all understand these cars better. Glad it was not your DME wiring harness. My DME harness is bad and I am going to remove it this weekend.

I would not worry too much about this until we know more, could be just a problem with the coil.

For what it's worth, I've been running the HVC-II for about a year with no issues, and it has plenty of spark for just about anything a 951 can throw at it.

Congrats sean. Dyno!!!

Yeah it's always the last thing you touch that goes up to sh*t... But indeed on your car. well you've touched everything so it's no help really. I thought it was the harness myself because it's a major thing. I remember reading you and josh went though the harness but you would hate to miss something. Glad it's fixed.

Hard to say but it feels pretty good. Thanks.

Did some more testing tonight with Joshua's help. It is looking more and more like just a faulty coil. Once Joshua gets my coil we will know for sure.

I will be hitting the dyno as soon I get my Logger/Tuner DME back from Rogue.

Shawn, you're running a totally stock intake, yes? Are you monitoring any ECG's?
