This was on pump gas, full street setup.

WOW 120mph on pump fuel!

Whats you're setup? Whats the estimated power output on pump fuel?

Nice job!

Thanks guys, my setup is stock motor, fresh bearings and head, cometic, FMIC, 60-1, 3" dp and exhaust, HV fuel pump, 55# injectors (too small), MSD 6AL w/ timing retard, and meth injection.
Those yokohamas just don't hook up at all.
I'm getting drag radials for the stock wheels.

Very nice. Throw some tires on there and you'll be very close to the top

What clutch are you using??

Haven't had it on a scale but I'm guessing 150-200 #'s lighter.

Ok so I have been thinking about this since you first posted your time slip, I don't think it happened. It just doesn't add up.

With the weight of your car you would need around 530whp. You say you have a basicly stock 2.5. But the big thing is that you say you are running 55lb injectors and a 60-1. the combination of which can only supply enough air and fuel for a little over 400whp. And thats with a great tune and other engine work.

Also when you look at the combination of your 60', trap and e.t. the combination just does not make sense for these cars.

Basicly I can't prove anything and I mean no offense but this is just my opinion and it took me a while to decide wether to say anything or not.

Now there is one way I think all of this could happened, but I don't want to put works in your mouth I would rather see if you come out and say it and then post a pick.

Well, I'm not sure how to respond to that. Only thing I can think of you are not figuring in the meth injection in your calculations. Methanol makes it run richer. On that run I had the ebc set to 28 pounds. It takes a lot of methanol to keep the engine from not detonating at 28 psi with pump fuel.
I have run over 30 psi with it.
The super 61 is not supposed be very efficient at high boost but thats what I have and seems to be working ok.
Post a pic of what? There's no ls motor in there yet.
As well as its running I'm starting to second guess the V8 plan.
And no offence taken on anything.

You would be surprised what supplemental fueling can do . Especially Methanol at high boost.

I would add that I personally have had some very lopsided runs myself that I have chosen not to post and I can believe this slip very easily.

I would like to ask though for my own piece of mind....how the grouping of your runs were Ie: was this one quite a bit better than the others, were they pretty consistant, or all over the place?

Once I figured how to get off the line best, fairly consistent. Before that times were all over the place.
One run was mid 13's @ 115 going sideways in second.

Well my thinking was that you were running around a 200 shot of nitrous in third a fourth gears and mybe second. To me this would have explained the very high trap and decent e.t. with the bad 60'

If you are running 28psi, ok maybe I could buy it. I just didn't think you were doing this because it would be so far out of its efficiency range. This makes it more plausable for me.

If you even take it to a dyno I would to see what you ae getting out of that turbo with 28psi.

I'm a big fan of nitrous and I did think about doing it. I just didn't think the motor could take it.

530whp to run a 12.7 in a 944?

Umm, that equation right there doesn't sound right...
