My stage 2 spec has shown no signs of slipping with 400+ whp/tq.. It is kevlar. All my launches done on it it just grabbed and those were clutch drops at 4000+ rpm with drag radials (I have the best believable 60' on the list, sorry don't buy that 1.60 for a second.) I will be interested to see how it does as power increases. But I think its got some left in it.
tman's slip shows 2.4.

I thought he referred to tman since he was replying about the clutch.
Badcoupe's time's I don't doubt for a second. I remember old posts from him and besides having a shop I think he used to do a lot of dragracing and regarding his 1.60 I remember him writing about how many cv joints and axles it had cost him

So is there a clutch that we can get that has enough holding for 500whp yet doesn't chatter like, like,...something that chatters a great deal?? Can't think of a simile but you get the picture. My 6 puk from before was great as a performance tool, but just not good for a daily driver. Reversing any distance was a bitch.

You just have to get used to it I don't thing reversing or such is difficult or a hassle with my 6 puck.
Even tough everything is lightened it's very hard to stall it by mistake.

i think Don corleone have a spec stage 3 metallic in his monster, and it seems to work very well for daily driving.

I would like to see the time slip. It just doesn't make sense, look at dragtimes.com at something similar to our cars like an RX7, they are running tens with that kind of 60'.
Most of the top cars on this list have videos and this one does not even have a slip.
Edit: so I was reading back throught his thread and badcoupe says on page 2 his 60' was between 1.9 and 2.1 which makes much more sense.

Found this site and thought it was fun, its a 0-60mph calculater based on 1/8 mile mph and ET.
http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php
Mine calculated to 3.41 secs.

Three Wheelin'
I was on the dragstrip with TPC supercharged 993 Carrera 2 (around 400 hp on the flywheel) and with just 265mm street Yokohama tyres 60' times were 1.78-1.80. Car had LSD gearbox. Best ET was 12.71 @ 179 km/h.
Just for comparison
