I would suggest that if you're having "meth injections" that we time you, not your car?

are you still running the MS11?? I thought I saw that you were ditching it. How do you have the meth inj hooked up??

Tracks around here are closed for a couple more months so I am only able to use my Iphone. It tells me I am running a little slower (mph) with this trans than the turbo unit but I am running a lot less boost too nowadays. The 60 ft looks better though so we'll see...

I just need more horsepowerSSS. Maybe some NOS'S will help too??? ...or maybe I was envisioning a multi-port meth injection setup, we'll just have to wait and see

Still MSII, still a love hate relationship.

I have a major fuel delivery issue right now that needs to be sorted out before it can go back to the track. I suspect the fuel pump but it's anyone's guess until I actually get a new one in there. Last time I was at the track I accidentally set the boost to about 18-19psi and the duty cycle went as high as 117% and it was still WAY lean. I made a "big phil" video about how to replace the fuel filter but it was just too ridiculous to put on youtube.

If you want to time me in the 1/4 I'm completely down. ...I need a flying start though. With my Cervelo P3 I bet I could do somewhere in the high teens (just good enough to beat the 1000hp 928).

Haha you trust that thing? my friend's iphone said my miata had 45ftlbs of torque ...actually that sounds about right. I look forward to hearing more when you get back to the track. I expect 2 or 3 more cars to break into the 11s this year.

you just admitted to owning a Miata. Dude ......and your giving me crap about the Iphone.

On a more serious note I am surprised at the consistency of it. It may not be accurate to the track but it is pretty consistent to itself.

Hey don't knock the Miata! It's my tow vehicle, 100% serious, I use it to tow my Hobie 16. With the stock lsd its also an autocross ANIMAL. And late afternoon after a long day of surfing, its nice to be able to put the top down and cruise back over the mountain without a 4" exhaust mutilating my ear drums. The 951 definitely has its place but the Miata fills in the gaps beautifully.

Just talking about fuel pumps, what do you think is the limit of the 044 unit? I see some pretty high hp Jap cars running 2 of these. Is this something some of us might need to consider?

From what I have read they can support ~ 700hp.

I am not so sure,.... myself I am going to use the HV pump to feed the 044 when I decide to make some real Hp.

Mercedes has a nice little setup using 2 bosch pumps in series for their CIS system.

Official limit of Bosch 044 is up to 600hp for boosted and 720 hp for NA cars.

I hope to get back out there this season. I never did any runs last year because I either did not have a turbo for the car or the transmission was out being fixed.

I have a different turbo this year, I am back
to a Super75 but it is DBB. I dont think I will be making much more power. I am going to be running 93oct and and 18psi, two years ago I was running 100oct and 23-21psi. I have not been to the dyno yet to touch up the tune.

The problem now for me is fuel delivery. Right now I am limited mostly by the fuel pump. I have a HV pump right now. I am afraid to swich to the 044 pump because I think it might fall short of what I want. I want it to have no problems up to 550whp. I don't know if I could ever make that much power but I would like to have that much head room for safety.

Would you use bigger lines under the car? Or just the two pumps in series and stock lines? How much power do you think the two could support together?

just throw another hv pump inline with other. 800whp safe.

Two 044's. well over 1000hp.

Sounds great and sounds easy. Why do you run them in series and not in parallel?
thanks
