haha it wasn't so much that I was caught sleeping. I was thinking "F>>K do I really want to do this, I know I'm about to break something expensive!" Car was running wayyyy lean above 5000rpm, according to the data-log the injectors were wide open (117% theoretical duty cycle). It may be time for a new fuel filter and potentially a new pump as well.

When going for ET against a rustang who doesn't stand a chance anyway, my strategy is always to stage as quickly as possible so there's time to get focused and oriented. In this case I wasn't even taking RT into consideration; just going through the motions, aiming for good 60foots and no broken parts.

Some might find this interesting. Please no flames about that fuel curve, it's rougher than a 41 y/o hooker. The one from my first 11psi run is dead flat at 11.7. Never meant to turn the boost that high, that row of the VE table was completely theoretical ...not that it mattered because the injectors were wide open anyway as you can see on the graph.

Wow, those aren't axles, there cut down driveshafts with U-joints and a Guibo. If you have a very stiff suspension and thus very limited travel, you could use a stronger u-joint instead of the weak bearing cage cv design.

Got a few runs in tonight at the new PBI raceway, very nicely redone from the Moroso days.
My best run was 12.7 @ 120 with a 2.4 60'.
I got out the hole at 3k, slipped the clutch through first gear, second gear still pedaling, on top of second finally caught traction.
My goal is to get to 11's this winter and hopefully not break too much stuff along the way.
This was on pump gas, full street setup.

what kind of mods/ power do you have?

120 is realy good and considering your 60' time 12.7 is good too.

Defianly a car that will do 11s if you can knock half a second off your 60'

You must have passed your opponent about 1' after the finish line going past him like a jet fighter on afterburner. Still looks to be plenty left in the tank so to speak. 120mph is pretty good for what I remember your mod list and car spec to be. Well done Mr T
