Thank you Rob. Aside from a flat dent in the rear drivers qtr panel it’s decently straight. Underneath looks great. It’s only money I guess

That’ a great car to be saved! I gave it some thought but I’m buried in projects and it would be several years before it got its turn. Good luck and post progress!

84 Euro S is the best 928, especially with a 5 speed. Old body style, 310 HP 16v motor that requires no adjustments for timing, mixture, etc, I'd keep and work on that one before this one, but that's just me.

I’m of the same thinking that the euro S (84-86) 5 speed is the best 928. I picked mine up 5 or so years ago in rough shape. Got it road worthy but now the injector hoses have dry rotted and I don’t want to start it. A previous owner rolled the rear qtrs to fit 996 turbo hollow twists, which I hate (some may not mind). My plan was/is to cut off the rear qtrs and replace with donor panels. Also planned to add a slicktop skin which I’ve already harvested. Now, with the addition of the early 78 I’m at a crossroads. I’d love to keep both both my 2 car garage would become very limited

It’s been resprayed a terrible maroon color from its original Rauchquarzmetallic

I’ll be moving the island table to the back for the 78 and it will be tight

Couldn't agree more, big reasons besides the strosek conversion why I chose to buy my car...

I hope it finds an owner who will appreciate it as a driver and beat the ever loving crap out of it, as that is one of the best-driving 928s I've ever been in. Not sure why it's been flipped so much, the winner of the March 2020 auction lived in South Florida and had a stable of 991 GT2s and GT3s, so I suspect the '89 was not as engaging in straight line stop-start driving.
