Not for me. I like to drive and monkey with my 928 more than be a steward of a collector car. And no space for another. However, if someone is interested, I would be more than happy to look at it for them.

Saw that one pop up and panicked a bit, I've been keeping an eye out for my old black on black '78 5 speed, mine was vin 9288200621 though. Sold it in Denver Late 2015 when I lived in CO.
looking at that black 78, it's amazing to me how clueless sellers are - it would have cost NOTHING to vacuum that car and clean it up a bit, scrape off that dead rotting hood pad and make it even the slightest bit more presentable. I would not buy a car from someone who can't do that, since it speaks volumes as to how the car was treated and maintained.

You are absolutely correct, the car should have been at least vacuumed before posting. That said perhaps there is more to the story. For example the owner might have owned the car for several years but never had the time to really show the car the attention that it deserves. Then maybe the seller’s son asked for a parking space because he desperately needed another car and made a deal to sell “the black Porsche” in exchange for the desired space and posted the car before cleaning it.
Now to fill in the blanks. This is my car and it is for sale. I have owned it for several years but most of that time is was living the “barn find” life living in storage being started periodically to keep the pieces moving. As noted above my son is selling the car to make room in my garage for his next project. The Porsche isn’t perfect, the dash is cracked, the hood pad is well beyond it’s prime and the paint is in need of help. This is a solid car and worthy of being refreshed. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
I had the opportunity to meet Brandon, his son and dad today. They are car and 928 enthusiasts with a pretty cool stable, including multiple 928s (one that was used in a bank robbery, even! (not by Brandon)). They know their 928s and how to treat them. I wasted a bunch of their and my own son's time asking questions, taking pictures, driving #44 and then just talking about cars. So, thank you, Brandon.
I agree with him about this '78. It's a solid basis for someone who wants to put in the elbow grease. Some unique 78 things, like a fabric pattern I'd never seen before, and the car is all there. It just needs someone who doesn't have a bunch of others cars pulling him in different directions so it can get the attention it needs. I could easily see it as a drive-as-you-restore project. It's too nice not to get some love.
Great to meet you, Brandon, and hope to meet up with you again, and see your dad and his MGs at the British Car Conclave.

Thanks for the info. What is the fabric? All of the pics show leather seats.

Looks like the door cards are the original fabric whereas the seats were reupholstered in leather.
My petrol/cork #403 (VIN #413) have the same pattern.
Brandon can answer questions better than I can about the car, but here is a photo I took of the door card, which is the same fabric as the rear seats. I believe Brandon said he has the original seats stored somewhere.

The door cards and rear seats have this material. As noted earlier the front seats were either re-covered with leather or replaced with seats from another car.
I think it's a great video. For instance, at exactly 8:13 (ironically, my birthday) Blumaxx makes an appearance for the pascha interior. You can't miss it - the Blue Max medallion hanging from the rear view mirror and my driving gloves. Pretty cool. I hope Alex sees this.
