This '82 was located close to me but didn't last long. Seems like it was listed at $19,900 and sold and taken down a few weeks ago, then put back up in the last day or 2 for $15,000. Needs some love, but I like that light blue metallic color.

Is that an original interior fabric?

I have a beautiful custom ordered Porsche that was being transported here on that ship with the fire...

It has a charcoal interior with smoke tinted windows from the factory.

Does that mean the insurance company will not have to pay?

Saw this car upclose in person in local Parkesburg PA. It is a shame the car sat for over 2 years. Local mechanic replaced the wp/tb without knowing the brand to use and it won't even start when I looked at it last summer. Strong mildew smell, poor interior, and engine bay appears to be overly powder coated. Minor rust spots in a few body panels. The mechanic and my friend (who owns RS Werks) had no idea how to get it to run. I gave them Stan's @Mrmerlin contact info but they never called. They should have. But it looks like a remote buyer bought it for $35k when I wouldn't buy it for $18k last summer.

Texas993, that car is almost my twin, right down to the Cocomats! Although I have a dark blue interior. My wife is looking for a 928 and I forwarded this to her. Beautiful car!

I bid on this GT just for the hell of it. Almost won the auction. Was relieved I did not. Thought it would be an interesting project.

The car in question was custom ordered with Charcoal paint, a Burnt Umber interior & smoke tinted windows... Will it qualify for insurance payment if it arrives as ordered but roasted?

I'm always watching BAT, as I know most of you are, and in looking at auctions of OB's and S1's, there is a lot of variability as to whether the lower grille (three aluminum slats) are painted black, or body colored. What's the right way? Is it black with a Comp/S lip spoiler, and body-colored without?
