Miscounting gears is more forgivable than miscounting pedals: it's an auto. LOL.

In the meantime, he posts stupid comments and questions on BaT, braggs about his past vehicle ownership and still poisons auctions by not following through. I would think that BaT should be able to cut through the BS of different BaT handles since they must take his payment information ... I doubt he has changed his real name or address. I think its time we start calling this goofball out when he emerges once again on BaT. He should not be welcome and I personally have no interest in dealing with him.
I just heard from BaT and they have banned all of the identities used by the d-bag. He used a separate IP address for each identity. BaT tracks by the IP address apparently. If you want to see a really big ego working overtime, take a look this: https://thelosangelesbeat.com/2012/08/la-man-j-anastas/

In any case, my 86.5 will be re-listed on BaT soon and hopefully an RL'er wins! No expense has been spared on bringing it current and absolutely nothing is needed. I spent all the money because it was going to be my fun/road trip car and so I am way upside down in it. Flipping it was never my intention but now I keep looking at 991's and I can't have both.

Thanks everyone

My ego would be big as well if Jeff Bezos dressed, groomed and posed himself in his headshot so that people mistake him for me

OK, let's get back to talking about some nice examples for sale. Here's one. '78 3-speed auto with ~52K miles. Black over pasha for $37K

Default $17,500 - car can be seen and driven at Frenzy

It's not perfect. AC works, but leaks at the compressor and I've determined a slight squeak is a compressor bearing(s). Occasionally the ABS light will come on over rough pavement. Front bumper cover has road rash. Has RMB installed and original muffler is included. Almost all of the work I've done on the car is documented in threads here on Rennlist. It has just under 95,000 miles. The original manhole cover wheels are also included.

Some links to some of the bigger tasks I've completed:

New silicone oil pan gasket, motor mounts, and Delrin steering rack bushings (picture taken before bushings installed).

Beautiful car. It won't last long at that price.

Thanks, I've enjoyed working on it as much as driving it. I bumped the price a bit...maybe it will last a little longer

It's an 84 - to Nate it's worth every bit of that and more

Besides, there apparently is still some warranty left on it from the dealer.

While obviously a ridiculous asking price, there is no doubt in my mind that the first 928 to achieve a million dollar sale years from now will be an '84.

Default $2,500 1987 5 speed in Easton, PA

Pics kind of suck, but the interior looks minty.
