Looks like my car will not be going on BAT after all. At least not for now as they wanted the reserve to be considerably lower than I'm willing to go right now. This isn't exactly the optimum time to sell on auction in my opinion as a lot of people are off finishing up summer things. If it were to sell just over what they want reserve to be I wouldn't be happy at all. Anyway, I'm not desperate to sell and can wait as I still have room for it.
I will be listing it on eBay for some exposure and will also list it in the marketplace.

It will need nothing but to be enjoyed. I'm putting together a long list of things done and detailed history so please reach out to me if interested. I have owned it 9 years and I'm the fourth owner. It has 77K miles and my starting price is $55K. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Smart move Brian. Also, there was a sweet 88 S4 black that went across the block at Mecum, Monterey, yesterday - bid to $50,000, and did not sell. Just another data point for you.

Actually it was bid to $55k. Ed, I had that car at the 2011 PVGP when I owned it. Very nice car, but not worth $55k+ IMO. Sold it for $26500, has only traveled another 150 miles since December 2011. I replaced it with that beautiful 1990 Baltic Blue GT that Rick put me onto. Miss that car everyday!

Yes I stand corrected - it was $55K. Any leads on your shark hunt?

this seems to be the most often relayed complaint of BaT. out of curiosity, what were they suggesting as a reserve? if they are getting a listing fee at a minimum, i'm not sure why they insist on low reserve on certain cars. i guess they want to show a high rate of completed auctions.
Aside from the dash cover that needs to be painted, this looks to be a pretty good, clean, 5spd for $9,000. (Dealer just reduced the price $4,000).
And it comes with a 6 month warranty! In VA. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=224286951

Ha! I didn't see the description, I just noticed the shift ****.
(And you made me look again-- it is not just a 5-spd shift **** on an automatic, the front of the intake is lacking the vacuum tube for an automatic.)

i will be listing my SE on ebay in the UK in the next couple of weeks =https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-a-pos-se.html
i usually only list things that can be seen to UK ebay, but with the £$ ratio as it is i might be tempted to also list it so the USA can bid on it
Roger bought his red SE from me a few years back so i guess he could point you in the right direction for shipping details, but he is a busy man.
let me know if any of you guys would be interested in bidding it will be listed as an auction starting at £19,999 with no reserve,
cheers
Phil
