It's missing a couple codes that would make it a GT. 393 (forged wheels I think). Plus, the VIN is too low. It's been a while but, definitely not a GT. Nice car nonetheless....
This GTS has a combination of options that I've not seen before on any US version.
Never mind the RHD (it originated in UK), but it also has:
5spd (rare)
Sport seats (rare)
No rub strips (rare)
Wood trim (very rare)
No rear A/C (I've never seen on a GTS)
No passenger airbag.
No knee bolster for driver
man, to be able to buy a 928 from Uncle Rico - that's pretty ****ing awesome.
seriously, though, i live in plano and i'm on the hunt for an early 928. i might pm you about more info.
I'll guess around $20,000. Maybe less. Mecum is known for muscle cars.
they're known for muscle cars around the country, but their moterrey auctions are much more 'euro' market based and they know what will sell that week.
it still could be good chance at a low mileage, late first-gen 5-spd.

S4 temp gauge does not have numbers, and it has 6400 redline.
GT temp gauge has numbers and a 6600 rpm redline.
