...and overspray on the beading between the nose cap and the front quarter panels (look at the horizontal sections on both sides.)
... hmm.... yup. It only shows in two pictures. Good catch.
BTW - correct me if I'm wrong, but even at idle shouldn't the voltmeter be reading more than 11 volts?
Yup. I’m going to bet that the alternator is well-marinated in oil and ATF.
Notice that there are no pictures of the bottom of the engine? Thus, I assume: no belly pans, shot motor mounts, leaking OPG (which is of course why the fasteners on the bottom of the motor are in better shape than the ones on top.)

Front spoiler not correctly attached at the driver fender. And the hood looks funny, front passenger corner looks like its elevated a bit. And that quarter window rust indicates a wet environment.

And yes, the overspray. There's a lot going on there.
Early in my search for 928s I went to see several high priced cars and always ended up somewhat let down. I look more closely now at pictures before I go look at a car.
Particularly, I like the one picture of the fuel rail with the bolt just sticking up.
I'm assisting someone sell this car in Phoenix Arizona. This is the real deal, a 1983 Euro S model 5-speed. It has documented $21,000 worth of service in the past 11 years including a valve-job and upper refresh and torque tube rebuild. I've driven it and it runs very well, has a lot of power - brought a smile to my face. It has the Euro H4 headlamps installed.
The color is rauchquarzmetallic.
The 2nd gear synchro is notchy, the hood paint is a bit thin. The dash is sun damaged and leather shifter boot needs to be replaced.
