If those are OEM 17" Cup 1's in the correct offset and the photos reflect the true condition of the car then $12.5 seems like a steal even with deferred maintenance. I would think the sum of the parts equals more than the asking price alone! Interior shots would help...but agreed...this likely won't last long.

If we take thrust bearing health on faith then this is steal at $12.5k even if the mileage is 100k +/-. Now... ad says: “I know what the car is worth;” so it probably has 225k on it
Hey one thing about a 197K mile car that is hard dispute is that it couldn't have racked up that many miles without some level of maintenance. My 60K mile '84 had zero paperwork and hadn't run in over 10 years. I'd be willing to bet that I would have to spend a heck of a lot less on this S4 than I have thus far on my car to get it to the level where my car is today.
Newest BaT offering. '85 Auto. Guards Red over Black. Twist wheels look pretty good, and I usually hate anything but stock shoes. Not a fan of the painted intake though.
Hey, check it out. Ye Olde Wayne Lambright is selling his 928. This is the one he made famous by driving it into a box truck up wood plank ramps supported by cinder blocks. Someone here needs to buy it and keep the legend alive!

That ad is priceless. "Hello, my name is Wayne and I'm selling our Porsche 928 1985. I bought it from Zack in Southern Oregon, he said it was running when he parked it. I drove up to Oregon and trucked it home...." So many things going on in those sentences
