Kidding aside, someone put a lot of time and money in that ride and God knows we've seen worse for $5K around here. I could see this selling fairly quickly.

Yeah. <sigh> I made the mistake of thinking I needed to ‘refresh my memory’ and clicked on the link. Now I need to find my eyeball soap.

Nah. I use Store Brand eyeball soap.

I’m not a purist and don’t call out folks for LS swaps (etc.) For me, I don’t care what the vision is - that’s personal - but, I do care about execution excellence and outcome quality neither of which appear to have been priorities in the above case.

Early in my search for 928s I went to see several high priced cars and always ended up somewhat let down. I look more closely now at pictures before I go look at a car.

Particularly, I like the one picture of the fuel rail with the bolt just sticking up.
If this car goes over 20 I would be shocked. Currently at 14k. This one has a tone of maintenance needs (basically everything under the hood) and is need of a proper re-paint or at a minimum repaint some panels and fix the rust. I forecast at least 25k (13k paint 12k mechanical) to sort this one, less if you can live with paint and rust. But it is a GT so I guess we will find out how strong the demand is.

I'm going to e-mail myself what I think it will go for and post my guess when it sells.

The White GT on BAT? This gets confusing..... maybe start putting year / color in every post so we know what is being commented on

Whte GT on BAT = $25k

Agree. White '90 GT on BaT that needs $15-20k immediately? Probably $23-25k. $18k with clean title is a steal, regardless about the repaint, rust, etc.
That burgundy interior kills it more than anything else. Mechanical maintenance is the easy part. Can't easily change interior/exterior colors if they are polarizing.
