This 928 S4 has been up for about a week. I replied because it seemed too good to be true at $18.5K, but you never know. Needless to say I didn't hear back. Then yesterday Chequered Flag International posted the same car with the same pictures. http://chequeredflag.com/1988-Porsch...4/Details.aspx Their ask is, well, kinda crazy at $73K, but clearly this is their car. The CL has the wrong year, color and mileage but same pictures.
Whoever posted the CL ad had access to the CFI pictures before they were made public yesterday. Inside job?

What makes you think this is a scam? Didn't we learn our lesson with the mmidnight blue 5 spd GTS that was asking "OBO" with dealer's trade in at $12k?!

Yes beautiful car but that interior is not going to be to everyone's taste, so the buyer pool will be limited compared to if it was just all black. And even then $73K is too much IMO.Yes a rising tide does raise all boats, but I only got one boat! I need the tide to mellow out a bit so I can add an S4 or OB.

If that was Petrol Blue I just might. Wing, wheel and tailpipe need changing, but that's easy-ish. Killer interior.

Probably true.....but then it may end up on BaT and beyond my desired price range. I really want to buy my first 928, and this looked like a good one, but clearly I'm going to have to start moving quicker!
