Cassisrot over burgundy, '88 S4 auto with 84K miles. I'm guessing this color looks even better in person. Burgundy is my least favorite interior color, but this one does look very sharp. Comes with the rarely equipped jump post "drip shield" (thanks Dave) and jump post cover.

IIRC Sean still needs a Venetian Blue pass side front fender
Marine Blue in perfect condition I've got one I've prepped for paint, but it requires it being on the car for blending etc. Then it requires hail dents removed..........and a total repaint. Biding my time.
The part numbers are different...the BAT auction 968 wheels are P/N's 965.362.124.05 for fronts, 965.362.128.00 for rears. These are also the P/N's listed in PET for the 968. Looks like Porsche changed the 2 to a 6 for the 8th digit to differentiate the RDK wheels. You can see where the RDK sensor mounts in the wheel that mounting blocks were cast in the mold, then machined/drilled after. These cast blocks are not present in the pictures of the 968 wheels on BAT, therefore they could not be retrofitted to accept RDK sensors.
Thanks for pointing that out. I think if i stare at numbers long enough I see what I want to vs what is there. Early onset I think.

I can find them online for $950 & $1150 USD each respectively. Whether the seller can supply once an order is placed is another story...
I have a quote for $817.73 for the 7.5 968 version and $959.95 for the turbo rears 4 to 6 weeks delivery. A total of $3,555.36 + shipping. Someone must be kicking themselves right about now.
[QUOTE=guweedo;14893070]Hello!
I'm new to the forum but have been in love with the 928 for years. I've always wanted one but it was never the right time. Well, now's the right time.[/QUOT
Congratulations to Mike A. (Guweedo) who took over as caretaker of my '88 S4 Guards Red 928 today. I believe she will be in good hands and living in Ashburn, VA right next door to Sterling, VA home of Frenzy. Thanks to SeanR for the vote of confidence. I'm sure I will be able to visit which surely was my cleanest and best sorted 928. I reminded Mike that Rennlist is your best source of information and knowledge. Those of you in the Virginia region Mike welcomes any assistance you have to keep this fine 928 on the road for many years to come.

Congrats Mike - you finally sold it. What a great car.
looks okay. Has needs but is an early one. It has been bumped in the rear, you can tell by the pushed in deformation of the bumper cover. Seats re-stuffed, a little too much. For the right price could be a good resto candidate or a daily driver to have a blast with. The early cars, with a properly tuned cis, are fantastic running cars.
Congratulations to Mike and Mike! One beautiful car to another enthusiast that will no doubt appreciate the greatness of the 928! I am sure we will see Guweedo here more and likely acquiring more 928s! It's the only right thing to do
