Take a close look at the one buccicone has for sale. It's a top notch car that needs nothing.

I remember this car. Seller posted here but disappeared afterwards and never heard back from him after messaging.
Congrats and that's a good price even if it is not running yet.

Completely agree. That "'After '87 car, <100k miles, and <$20k with nothing needed" will be hard to find. Increase your budget by a 1/3rd and you will have a car that will save you money in the long run!

This '90 GT: Is this the one that the front clip was welded to discussed maybe a year ago?

Yes, that's why he's very quiet on FB after I asked for: vin and is it on autotrader.
THIS IS WHY VIN AND DISCUSSION/HISTORY of any classic cars on the internet is helpful, ie Rennlist and BaT.
Engine pics "hides" the pre-'87 pusher fan.
No mention of the history and he gets everything wrong about the GT's production numbers and all.
Feels bad if anyone on FB buys it without knowing it's history.
Here's the link and pay attention to the end of the thread.
Crummy used car dealer stuff, and a fellow Rennlister was saved from a huge headache due to the thread and discussion:
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-league-4.html
Here's the quote from Rennlister Tarek307:
"Thank you rennlist i just almost pulled the trigger on this car pending a ppi (which would have been a waste of $) Talked to seller for 30 mins no mention at all about any accidents, as we were talking i Googled his number and a dealer or flipper website came up miamipowercars.com/ and he denied that he is a dealer at all, so i said ok whatever..told me story that he got it in a real estate deal that he is a broker.. i knew something was off...Those who listed the vin here really saved my butt! a quick google search of vin shows all this

Now when i confronted him about it he denied knowing anything and started telling me that to buy it i need to show proof of funds and that i'm wasting time lol..so shady!"

Thanks, Hoi. I guess my memory isn't so bad. Yes, we saved a lot of misery from potential buying this dishonest car. Told me not to bad mouth the car on Rennlist (He's already checked). That already happened 2 years ago. There ya go Hernan!

Default 1981 5 speed in San Diego

I have no ties with this car but I did look at it yesterday. The seller seems like a straight shooter, and an interesting character. In the end the respray wasn't up to snuff for my tastes, that is to say I'd like original paint but this car would make a nice driver.

Go to 928 Docs on FB. Guys are battling it out there. He can still make money on it if he is open to the car's history. When people are caught in a lie, they instinctively fight back without any factual backups.

I got your email and accidentally deleted. Resend email info about my '88 S4 or '86.5. The Autotrader ad is mine or you can see it front and center in 928 Docs FB. or Rennlist. https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...automatic.html

You know the interior was a mixed bag, the dash is covered, I lifted the "toupe" and found no cracks or shrinkage. The leather is pulling away from the interior light and just falling off the sunroof motor cover. No major problems with the seats and all the power accesories I tried, ie windows, sunroof, radio, power antenna, ac and so on worked. I did see a tiny bit of bubbling on the rear hatch and another very small spot of rust on the batter box.
