Three Wheelin'
Pulled every fuse in the main fuse board, used a dremmel with brass wire wheel to clean up top and bottom connections, then cleaned up with my shop vac.., fitted all new fuses, would have liked to remove the relays and clean their contacts, but not having the correct removal tool, left them well alone ( sort of, quit while I,m ahead )
My shoulder is absolutely aching now !..., too old I guess

Yesterday afternoon and this afternoon, now complete:
Replaced oil pan gasket.
Updated to steel ball joints with new eccentrics.
Removed steering rack bushings and replaced with a set of 928-r-us Delrin ones. Perfect fit.
Inspected clutch, found t.o. bearing to be falling apart, and arm is missing inserts.
And then did 6 hours worth of de-grease and grime-ing, of everything I removed. Ugh. OCD is awful.

Bought a 3 ton jack, jack stands and a torque wrench at Harbor Freight. Jacked up the S4, removed the rear wheels and rebalanced them at Discount Tire. Cleaned up the area with Griot's Garage new Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner. All while watching Le Mans 24 Hours!

Full assault on nonfunctional sunroof! Took off inner panel, sun roof itself, shoes, track, and pulled the cables out. Spent three hours cleaning 30 years of gunk, grime, leaves & dirt out of the tracks with a variety of small flathead screwdrivers, nearly a full roll of paper towels, a half bottle of Simple Green, and believe it or not about twenty Q-Tips! The Q Tips were definitely the MVP at the end-they fit perfectly in the cable track and worked perfectly for getting those last bits o' grime out. Not sure if I'm going to reuse those cables-one side has a fair amount of rust on them--I'll have to see how well they clean up tomorrow.

Drifting
So today I finished buttoning up the front, fans are on and coolant is in and its all done under the car.
I found and repaired the leak at the fuel tank and did a in-tank pump delete.
More pictures which I am sure everyone is sick of but its to document what I've done.
So the top end refresh replaced
head gaskets
polished and port matched heads and intake
polished the cams
replaced all top end gaskets.
replaced fuel lines with steel braided and billet rails installed
all silicon vacuum lines installed and new cover vent hoses.
MAF delete and installed a Map and new TPS
engine harness to new electromotive ECM replaced and wired with all new terminals and connectors
painted engine covers and intake.
install adjustable FPR and delete all FPD
928 MS upper control arms
New drilled rotors (Rogers X-mas special)
new to me wheels and rims
The plug wire routing took some thinking
And Oh ya, its off the stands after 6 months

Installed the water bridge.
Installe 928 Motorsports improved oil control baffel. Used RTV to seal it and temporarily bolted it down till it sets. Should make final oil seperator install easier and less messy.
Began Install of the Dual inlet, single dump, FuelLab RRFR. Using Porsche single Fuel Dampner up front.
BEGI FMU is going up on Ebay along with the entire L-Jet system. Rails, Injectors, Brain, Ignition, etc., etc.
Rather sell to RenListers. PM me if you want me to list anything here.

ugh spent an hour scrubbing gunk off sunroof cables with a steel brush and Liquid Wrench. They're now gunk free, I saved like $150 bucks on replacements AND I smell like oil. WINNING!
