Yo Sean, Nice Seats! 12 way heated. Where'd you get those?

Using Leatherique on one side and McGuire's on the passenger side. Should be interesting. As to why? Just because.

Finished up swapping in a 1989 GT trans (G2855) and big brakes on my early 85' car. OMG, what a improvement! The change of gears really woke it up. BTW hello everyone.

I prepared the rear of the car to receive the sharkwoofer (nice unit!).

Dropped down a half dozen of my remaining damplifier pro tiles from Secondskinaudio.com on the shelf near the fuel pump access, then a couple on the bottom of the spare tire well, one on the side wall of the well above the batter access latch (that panel rang the loudest), then cut a piece of luxury liner pro to sit on the top shelf of the hatch..but wont glue it down until the new rear 1/4 trim pieces are in.

Goes under the knife monday for the power/cabling/speaker work for the sharkwoofer, new drivers for the rear, and re-wire the fronts for Hans's upcoming upgrades this fall. Will get doors dampened as well while open.

Replaced the 6 year old supecharger belt (06-0400) and got a 100mm tensioner pulley (the old one was 90mm) to keep the belt slippage to a minimum. Pulley and belt came from NAPA. The tensioner pulley was for a 4cyl. Fiero.

Busy day.

Pulled the driver's door panel to fix the flopping around crossover and figure out why my door won't lock with my remote.

Replaced the A/C belt. Man I hate anything and everything to do with the PS belt system!

Finally found a cap for the air injection tube on the cats and put it on. Found the small test port pipe that leads up was rusted and broken off, so capped that off as well. Exhaust leak gone.

Inspected the clutch slave rod and adjusted the clutch master/pedal rod in hopes of alleviating my clutch slip. No dice, so I guess I will be doing a clutch job soon. Oh joy!

Reassembled 86 after A/C work. (hood, wiper motor, heater hoses, new heater valve, oil cooler, grill)

Compared a pair of MAF's to a known-good, new unit.

Elf, what kit did you use, and is the beam pattern still flat enough on the fogs? I chew through the ~~100hr life on my 100W H-3's fast enough using them for DRL's that a good HID conversion almost makes sense.

I used 35w 6000K Pure White with Blue Tint (Diamond White). They should hold for up to 2000 hr.
Don't know about the beam pattern but first impressions are that they're good.
I have just tried them in the dark and they really lights up much better than the old 55w. Road signs are very well illuminated. Plus they really looks cool

I was made redundant at work so got a few things done on the Euro. All new belts, PS hose (Thanks Brian), OEM Hood Pad and Delrin rack bushings from Roger and best of all, got rid of that terrible digital clock!

Wrestled with relay X trying to remove it - with battery disconnected, found that tire tool for a bicycle will do a great job levering it out, and a new '53' relay got me back my fan speed and a/c.

Brad, tell me about the clock... EURO85 needs to get rid of its POS digital as well... Plug and play? Easy to do? How much?

Neil, I had the same experience 2 weeks ago...fan and A/C inop. Jim W. came over and swapped out the relay for a known good "53" and BAM...all is good again!

Verified the Strosek mirrors work directly powered. Need to take the door apart and check the mirror switch. Fuse is good

If they have the memory seats it all runs through the seat computers.

I was about ready to burn mine after a week of trying to figure out why my mirrors would not work, the harness had been hacked up and the seat computer deleted, the PO had changed the wires in the body harness around, that took a while to find.
