Got it registered!!!!
Owned the car for two months - the DMV closed a couple days before it arrived due to the dreaded covid and it has just been sitting - taunting me -
Now it has a plate and I can finally start getting used to it.
Congratulations on the purchase and getting that beauty on the road!
I wish I could get Louie registered. Covid shut down our DMV offices and they are in no hurry to re-open.
Driving it locally anyway, it has insurance and I carry the paperwork with me. I've driven right past a few Gendarmes and the whole audacity of the car seems to take their eyes off of the missing plate! ;-). Of course this will work until it doesn't

I took the plate off the wife’s car for a bit till I got it’s own plates. It’s not wrong if you don’t get caught
Went to a 928 & 944 get together in Helen, GA with a group drive up to 944 Barn where we had a great pizza lunch as we looked through the crazy amount of 944 parts and parts cars on the property. Owner said he's had 178 944s go through there to be disassembled.
928ers who participated were me and my son JP, Ron, Lou, Chuck, Brian, and Alex. Think we had 25 cars or so total, as well as a 914 with a Subie conversion, and an LS1 944.
Just finished the following upgrades, R12 to R134a, new windshield (old one was damaged by a rock), all new window tint, audio upgrade, complete detail.
