Replaced rotten AC lines from compressor to front of car. A bit of a bitch to say the least..took 3 hrs to get the compressor mount bolts to line up and in...sheesh...will leak check, evacuate, and recharge this weekend.
I rebuild my engine oil lines. Kept the enigne side original (cramped with two ear-clamps opposite of each other) and upgraded radiator side to AN-10 connectors.
Kevin,
Who makes that belly pan, and what years does it fit?
My '78 is missing any pans that may have been there originally.
As for what I've done to my 928 "today", I reinstalled the exhaust after doing the shift linkages, and tried to shift the transmission.
I'm blaming the 10 years of idle time for the dragging clutch, but also found that the torque tube bearings are a bit noisy. One more item for the list.

Kevin wilson and I make those pans. They are for 87 and up only.
So I replaced the bulbs at the back of my car today but had read to make sure to replace them with Euro bulbs. Went top the Sylvania website https://www.sylvania-automotive.com/apps/vlrg-us/Vlrg/ and looked up my car. Found all the bulbs but thought Id check what was in the car now. I pulled all the bulbs and found a mix of all sorts of bulbs and wattage's. What I did overlook at first was that next to each of the sockets was stamped (Both USA and Europa) what bulbs go where, and wattage's. Self explanatory. The bulbs that I used were Sylvania long life 7528 (12v /21 watt), 7506 (12v /21watt), and 5007 (12 v /5 watt). This is what was stamped on my lense. All purchased at Walmart @ $3 less that Autozone and Advantage.
I replaced the transmission lube, using Amsoil 75W90 non limited slip (the only non LS oil that I could find locally, and which was actually stocked in a NAPA.)
Before changing the oil, I noticed an evaporation pattern beneath the fuel tank, which I'd just reinstalled a week prior, and had only put gas in two days earlier.
After pulling the pump cover back off of the car, I noticed that the cloth covered fuel hose from the tank to the pump was seeping gas at the tank end, and so snugged the hose clamp a little more.
As soon as I touched the clamp, the hose started to show moisture wicking up the cloth cover, and then the seeping fuel turned into a dribble, and then a stream running off the bottom of the hose.
I ended up pulling the hose and temporarily capping the tank with a couple of gallons of fuel in it.
Once I split the hose open, I found that despite having inspected it and seeing nothing alarming, when I had the tank out of the car, it'd decayed internally, with many splits down the length of the rubber liner.
I'm guessing that the old fuel that was in the tank had somewhat sealed the hose while it was going bad, and now that I had fresh gas with some Techron cleaner in the tank, it quickly loosened the residue the old fuel had left behind.
For the time being, I have a short length of 1/2" fuel/PCV hose installed to connect the two, but will have a hose on hand to replace it with when the fuel level is down again.
Once again, check fuel hoses carefully, and replace anything questionable!
