With son Nick's help - we bled/replaced our brake fluid. Received our package from Jager - installing our Carbon/Lthr Shifter and new hood liner next weekend!

Funny, looks just like a NJ car on craigslist that popped up a few minutes ago.

Yeah, there's a wheel in the foreground.

Something you want to tell us, Skrilla?

It was such beautiful sunny weather today that I took it out for running an errand this afternoon. I'm glad I could do this; Thursday is my next eye surgery, which likely will not allow me to drive for about 10 days...

It said: "Why have you been ignoring me lately? My tires are getting flat spots, and I forgot all the settings you made from letting the battery run down. Please get me out of that garage more often, and let me exercise!"

I installed the paul/ hans auto switch kit! It's amazing. I did not connect the ejector seat switch YET! Still figuring that one out. Also installed new fuel injector hose kit , fuel filter from Roger the porsche 928 king (honorary TEXAN)

Two new front tires and fixed a lot of vacuum leaks. Put a new head unit in the car. The old CD-2 just wasn't cutting it. It sounds so much clearer.

Replaced some fuses and cleaned contacts. Still away to go.

Ordered a nitrous kit from Nitrous outlet with all the goodies.Ouch! It will sit in the garage until my CIS can get dialed in.

I can only sit here and look at pictures of my 928 as it is in the shop getting lots of new parts installed. Can't wait to get it back!

After 2 days of driving on the new bilsteins...adjusted the front down to 170 where I wanted it.

Dr side had to come down 10mm: 10 / 1.5 / 2 = 3.3 turns
Pa side had to come down 5mm: 5 / 1.5 / 2 = 1.6ish turns

Last week had the air conditioner regassed and dye in to test for leaks. Today I was told that the compressor is leaking and they quoted me $4,618, ex Germany, for a replacement. That is before freight, import taxes and fitting. Looking for another Air con guy. Hovering around the 100 deg mark for the last 3 weeks and no relief in sight so air con is a must.

WOW, what a crook! That is INSANE!! That is less than I paid for my last 928 (EURO85) AND shipping it half way across the US! And the car was pretty decent (now it is quite spectacular!!!)

Buy a rebuilt from one of our vendors and send yours back as a core - the AC compressor is light enough to send via AusPost and USPS.

I've had stuff from 928intl show up in 4 working days before now (a condenser shipped via USPS), although USPS seems to be taking its sweet merry time at the moment (8 working days when it gets delivered tomorrow from 928intl).

Hey Bogdann, what year is yours?
$4,618 is crazy for just a jap Nippon Denso compressor (fitted to 1980-1990 cars).

Followed excellent guidance here (special thanks to Dwayne).... I release tension on Flexplate and checked the end play - very much in spec but the engine was rebuilt by Porsche dealer two owners and 45K miles ago due to Thrust Bearing Failure.

Lots to do including WP/TB with my 8 year old and 12 year old mechanics helpers before SITM is a reality

Also did the stuff to my Cayenne in a couple of hours that my $tealer used to charge $650-1000 for.
