I can totally relate to that. Not that I have something like your collection by any means. But if I'm having a hard day or just want to feel good... I go into the garage and start up the V8... All problems fading and a happy smile is always there...

I looked in my dark garage at 6:30 am and saw the interior lights had been on for 12 hours. I feared a nearly dead battery, but she started up without hesitation. ‘86.5 auto cared for by Howard Wright for the last four years.

I did nothing for my 928's today, but yesterday I bought them some nice garage company...

A 964 series 911 Carrera 4 coupe that I sold 17 years ago to a physician friend. Polar Silver over Linen, or was it Sand? Potential candidate for a Singer Turbo S? Hmmmmmmmmmm...

It is a Vasek Polak prepared car that originally came to me with 54k on it in 2002. I sold it with 78k and now it has 93k. I doubt I would allow it to be converted, it's too nice and original.

Don't hate on me too much...

Why should we hate you for driving a flat beetle?

It's a 944S, so it has half the 928 engine :-)

Default A...Lot 😅

Looking into vacuum leaks...

Searching for leaks and the wires were a mess!

Searching for leaks...

What is it??? A micro switch. It is in the mail as of yesterday!

Microswitch

Organized the wires, grouped them and etape wrapped. Replaced diaphrams in both vacuum actuator pods. Tested actuator under cluster pod (it held! Woohoo). Cleaned and tidied.

Replaced existing fuel hoses minus the one that goes way under everything with 30r7. Everything was 30r6.... replaced fuel injection hoses. Fuel dampener hoses.

Wrapped the cracked and broken air intake tube with some fancy vinyl tape.

All put back together! Next to finish the center console and ac system then on to pull pan!

I also cleaned, replaced slider innovation, checked all functionality, replaced fiber optics, and reassembled the ac head unit. I well this has been over the course of a week or so 😁

Drained out the 2.5 year old Pentafrost NF and ran 4 gallons of distilled water through. Drained and refilled with new Pentafrost NF.
