That would make sense... I've never thought about it. Maybe in a roll-over, they would deploy too?

Not sure where the impact sensors are in an airbagged 928... is there only 1 sensor and both front bags deploy or 2 sensors that deploy the driver or passenger bag as needed? If the latter, could you wire the specific seat with the specific sensor (driver>driver; passenger>passenger)?

Installed the correct upper ball joint boots, finished installing the rear shocks, and started cleaning the steering rack. Working on removing the rack mount bushings, to be replaced with solid aluminum ones. Planning the wire harness changes to be done for MS3 and electric fans.

Picked up from body shop, fender fixed. As some will remember last November some 'sh!thead" hit my fender in a gas station, then tried to start a fight with me. Well, all and all, I called the insurance, and he fessed up, and now its fixed.

Finally found a local shop which carries in stock the Motive Power Bleeder, went to pick it up along with a clutch slave (just in case it had gone south with the master cylinder)... Told me on the phone they had the slave in stock, got there, not so much... Thought, oh well, the slave looked to be fine. Proceeded to hoook up the Motive and pressurize before filling with new fluid.. GROAN... yup, slight leak in the slave. Called business back, new slave arrived an hour later.. Maybe with any luck will get it poked in tomorrow morning, bled and back on the road!

Installed a new front fuel damper and adjoining fuel hose on my '86. No leaks! Though I do find it strange that when I tried "priming" the system with just turning the key on, I didn't hear the fuel pump at all. I've not noticed before, but it should prime with key on shouldn't it? It fired just fine after it cranked for a little longer.

fuel pump isn't activated until the starter is activated,so i think what you have now is normal.

Finished the 32V gear adaptation for the Home Position Sensor I added to my 16V to implement Fully Sequential Fuel Injection.

Before you guys beat me up, the gear will go further back to where it belongs on the camshaft, of course.

Uncovered the car in the garage. Reattached the ground cable, started the after it's extended 2-week early-spring nap. Backed it out of the garage. Dusted it. Recovered it.

99991 miles on the meter. I don't dare drive it anywhere. It seems unlikely that I'll do 100-at-100,000, unless I fudge and see 100km/hr instead. :/
