Entered the Fountain Valley car show just to have a parking space, and my 928 won the Porsche Class... who'da thunk it...a 928 winning in an all Porsche models class ????

Finally got AC fully working. The Sensor(thermistor) under left front fender was disconnected which was causing the heater control valve to open slightly which in turn mixed hot air with cold. I replaced the duct and reattached sensor. Once the sensor was connected the heater control valve fully closed as designed.

The second half of the repair is just a temporary fix to close the re-circulate flap until I find time to replace the diaphragm. Not a hard jump but it takes several hours. I got a great tip from one of our suppliers, not going to say who, but his name rhymes with "dodger". He said to wedge a stick into the flap to push it to closed until I get around to fixing the diaphragm. The man's a genius. I took a paint stirrer stick and fed it through the existing rectangular hole in the vent on passenger side and placed the other side against the parcel shelf. It's a perfect fit, vent is closed tight.

AC blows nice and cold. First time in the 4 1/2 years I've owned her.

Start the car for the first time this year after an intake removal and TB/WP job.
Engine runs perfectly but there is a coolant leak from the water fitting 1-4 Cyl.

That cover is broke in two!

Ever seen that guys?
Don't know what happened.

Now I need to find that part. I'll have to wait again before my first drive of the season. Well...
It was so nice to hear that engine again.

Took some time and cleaned up the front wheel arch areas. Installed new EBC red ceramic pads. After all the grief with broken wp bolts this was a nice positive feeling. We are friends again

Still in the shop having the shocks changed. The tech was sick so instead of picking it up yesterday, I will be picking it up tomorrow.

Almost ready to put the big breaks on, especially because I am having the lower aluminum ball joints replaced with steel ones too while I have the shocks off.
