So what did you do to your 928 Today......

Finally finished my green wire install and have my distributor back in (after making a newbie mistake and accidentally popping it out of gear just enough a few weeks back).
Started installing new plug wires...I think #4 & #8 will have to wait until I remove my fuel rails, plenum & spider. Will do a test start before that though...

Finished the timing belt and related pieces replacement on Saturday, after getting a warning in a belt with proper tension. Found the tensioner arm stuck/frozen on the pin to the point I needed a puller to remove it.
Then a mini clinic day yesterday for Darien's supercharged car. We added some JBWeld to the recently-installed front Koni's to lock the adjusting sleeves to the shock bodies. Then Darien did a trans fluid service. Rob Edwards joined us for the fun. Having all that help allows things go a lot smoother and faster.
Weather was perfect for 928 wrenching, high 60's.

Fixed the driver side parcel shelf under the dash and then set off car alarms in the company parking lot today with my new single 3" exhaust

Finally got back home to drive it. Apparently the alarm went off when my dad shut the hatch while I was away and wouldn't start for him before that.
There is no upper alarm latch, only the non alarm one on mine.My 928 is possessed.
I also managed to find a original matchbox 928 from 1979 to add to my 928 stable while I was away.

Accidentally broke the vacuum check valve, while I had it out I realized it really couldn't have worked that well anyway, went to nearest "parts" store and found a vacuum check valve, rigged it to work until new arrives from 928 int'l.... surprisingly I have working AC and cruise control which I only "kind of" had before.....
