Removed original factory installed car phone antenna and installed a replacement antenna. Ran the line down B pillar under passenger seat and directly to head unit. The finish of the replacement antenna isn't the best. Purchased from recommended antenna provider.

Cleaned out the two dead mice and TONS of paper towel stuff from the blower motor and condenser (i think) took a couple of hours....The mice were stuck up behind the plastic grate (?) where the flapper is on a spring...

Drove 700 miles home, mainly in heavy rain through the night.
928 operated flawlessly.
Pretty good for a rescued car that hadn't been started in 10 years..

investigated a loud knocking sound coming from the engine when cold. Had visions of major catastrophe and expense. Luckily it turned out to be the air pump. Cut the belt for now and no more noise. I am planning an X pipe this winter and would have disconnected the air pump then anyway.

Replaced two exterior, black, trim strips on rear quarter windows - upper one on left side and lower on the right. A PO had somehow bent and creased the originals. An easy job, once you figure out how to lube the splines of the plastic trim that go into the grooves of the rubber. Others mention dish soap or some such. I used DuPont Teflon spray protector.

Removed the Transverse Acceleration Sensor for my non-working PSD and cleaned out the crud keeping the damper mechanism from functioning as a damper instead of a stop. Cleared the fault w/ Hammer. Now all i need is a working PSD pump unit and I'm in business. Also sealed and properly secured some of the interior speakers that the PO installed with drywall screws. I hope those new custom speakers are on the market soon!!

Good times. Car ran real well but I think I developed a crank shaft seal leak.
Larry and Rich were also present with their beasts. Such a great day!
