Drove her.

As of last Monday, she is an official daily driver.

I still get a kick out of setting off the car alarm next to me when I fire her up in the parking garage!

I took out the "special windshield washer fluid" tank. The stuff in there stunk and it was like crud. I washed it, flushed the pump and the line. There is no way I will fill that tank with that stuff again.

Finally replaced all the blacked-out front lighting.

Rob, is there a thread on its way? Or some description of exactly what you are testing there? I'm worred about getting the brightness right with LED's.
Dan- I'm just following along with what Ed Scherer has posted, in the pic I'm checking polarity on the main illumination bulbs.

Today I reassembled part of the steering column on Hebert's car:

Fixed the interior automatic door lights by installing those door switches.
Also, as a n00b, I finally realized that the switch on the roof and read hatch is the lights themselves! D'oh!

Thanks Jerry Feather! His tire cover is one tuff mother--it survived baggage handling in my suitcase from the states this weekend.

Pulled the pod AND dash so I could replace them with my epic leather/alcantara version from classic9leather -thanks Rob!

Also rewiring the stereo, there is too much junk wiring in there. Found that a PO chopped the windshield antenna connection, which explains why I have a rooftop connection AND a wire in the windshield.

Testing a few hvac actuators and they are holding ok - no leaks!

Found that my hvac unit had the relay mod done sometime, but I didn't know until after I removed it, figuring it was more PO madness.

Now I'm searching for a guide on removing the blower box and replacing more AC o-rings so I'll have working AC for the first time in years!

Bah now I'm getting a parts order together for actuator rebuild, recirc one is dead.

Otherwise, pretty standard rebuild. At least now I can clean the AC evaporator from both sides!!~!

All AC o-rings are being replaced, I'll rebuild ALL the actuators because it's simple right now, hit home depot for all the foam weatherstripping and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!!!!
