I just got my "revitalized" fuel injectors back from WitchHunter and installed them. Three were "fair" before I sent them in. It's raining so I've not yet taken it out for a "spin" (literally).

Fender-rolled all four corners so the 18 X 8 and 18 X 10 Hankooks stop rubbing the fenders... Then installed Porken's latest version (S300 v3.5) performance chips (86.5, S3, Manual, LSD). MAN! what a difference - you can feel the extra torque all the way to redline (increased to 6700 rpm) - doesnt let up, just pulls and pulls and pulls and... eventually had to let up cause I ran out of road
Washed & waxed, polished the wheels, vacuum the carpet & conditioned the leather - it'll look pretty running down the road with about 50 Ferarri, Lotus, Lambo, Vette, Porsche, Audi, etc, on a exotic car run in the a.m.

first time changed the motor oil from 5w30 to 20w50, wow what a big different!!!
the valve tapping noise is gone, the motor is quiet and the oil pressure is at 4 while idle and warmed up.

Dug into mystery rattle and found a few things...
Had an annoying series of rattles somewhere near shifter on underside. Not a bad mechanical noise of something gone horribly wrong but it was very noticeable and got worse as car came up to temp. Really just a PITA noise.
After removing the exhaust and forward heat shield I found multiple rub/vibration points. The oxygen sensor was definitely rubbing on heat shield and the cats were definitely changing position and rubbing at various point as she warmed up. Also found both hose clamps wrapping transmission lines on TT were very loose.
I will be ordering X-pipe soon with Cat delete which will eliminate cat vibration but most of the mystery rattle story is resolved. Yay!

Fixed wires in drivers door which were causing intermittent operation of window. 3 of 3 at point of 1-2 strands of wire left! Nice having up down function 100% of the time now!

I put the inspection and registration stickers on and used the car. I missed driving it this year, way too involved in the build of my 951. Great feeling to be back in it, especially since this is the car I use on the treks. Next trek, 11/12/11 to the Vineyards here on Long Island.

Painted wheels black and added wheel bands (http://wheelbands.com). No need for unnecessary wheel rash.
