Checked vacuum line for transmission. Checked out ok. This completed LH, EZK, Idle/WOT, Idle Stabilizer, Temp II, Resonance Flap and Tank Vent Solenoid tests. Thankfully all tests passed and I learned a lot along the way without any bloodletting.

Took her for a spin. Idling, Running and Shifting well after multiple adjustments on Throttle body cables. Beautiful day in NC.

I did a whole bunch of work today, reassembling the 86.5:

- Finally fixed the sunroof with new seals, it now opens and closes the way (it think :-)) it should
- Mounted a new sunroof spoiler
- Put on the window trim on the windshield as well as the window of the trunk
- Fitted the S spoiler on the trunk
- Installed the 'headliner' of the trunk and doublechecked all wiring
- Installed the hatch lock

Next weekend is planned for the windows and trim of both doors.

The weekend after that, hopefully it is time for the front + rear bumpers and front wings, so it will look like a car again :-)

After removing rear wiper and motor didnt like the gaps, etc. left on the hatch or at bottom rear edge so cleaned them up!

Hatch trim piece with hump removed, cut some sheet metal and after much coerceing got it to a near exact fit. Attached with multiple tubes of JB Weld, sanded and smoothed out then covered with matching vinyl. On the carpeted pieced did the same thing and recovered with carpet left over from when installed all new carpet from Rob Budd...

IMHO looks MUCH better!

And on Friday sold the '08 Audi A4 so could reacquire the 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo I sold in 2007!

Replaced the vac line section from the manifold to the hard line on the top of the torque tube. Have noticed hard 3-4 shifts lately. Figured I broke it when I did the motor mounts. Also started the 2nd try on repairing a hole in the leather steering wheel cover. First try lasted about 3 months before the filler started cracking. Talked to Leatherique and got a couple of tips, namely glue the entire fabric backer for the hole down not just the edges.

Since the 928 is new to me, I decided to check and make sure the throttle position switch worked, cable adjusted properly, intake flap worked.

Turns out, the vacuum lines to the fuel pressure damper and intake flap were switched. All good now.

Had a great day, met MainePorsche and his son and great day for drive. Got 100 miles back down to home and belt tension lite went off 1 mile from home, guess running it to redline in third to pass the leaf pipers on RT1 stretched it a bit. Left it in Maine and will take tools back next weekend to adjust TB. It was replaced 4 years ago and 20k miles. Haven' t had it adjusted in last 4 years after it was installed.

Picture thanks to MainePorsche!

Intake R&R PLUS....Some of which I will still be buttoning up tomorrow.....
Pulled intake, stripped, prepped for paint tomorrow...admittedly a quick bandaid. Wasn't in plans but coating came off in sheefs despite careful handling.
Vac line kit.
4-hole cleaned Ford injectors
Porkens S300 Chips (regulator, etc)
All those rubber bits...
Fuel lines...o rings....etc,
Etc

I don't like making fuel lines.
I hate vacuum lines.

That is all.
