So what did you do to your 928 Today......

Had a huge argument with driver's side locking post as I needed to install a new linkage clip (993 531 563 00). Eventually won. I'm never taking that out again. Good thing I have small fingers.

The locking post (#24) - which has the lock button at the top (#25) and is connected to arm (#6) of the rotating lock **** inside (#1-5) - was disconnected from the arm that actually goes to the lock mechanism. A small linkage clip (#7) makes the junction.

EZK
I finished up my EZK coding plug modification last night. I will have the ability to toggle between three different ignition maps on the fly. One for "valet" mode-retarded, one just like it is now with months of tuning, and one advanced map for when I'm spraying the water/methanol injection.
I was thinking about making up some plug and play harnesses if I can get my hands on some coding plugs. It would come with a EZK chip that would have stock maps for the normal setting, a retarded map for times when the temps are very high, or you get some not so good gas, and then one for the occasional track use or whatever. The later map would be tricky, as every car is different. That map would be "use with caution" or get some race gas before activating it. I have also linked three colored LED's (Yellow, Green, and Red) for my car that let me know which EZK map I have activated, retarded, normal, and advanced. If I included this, it would cost a little more, and you would have to connect one 12v keyed ignition wire for the LED's and find a place to mount them. I mounted them down in the parcel shelf and the far left and side so I can see the lights through the steering wheel. The toggle switch is located in the pull out ash tray, out of view especially when the ash tray door is closed.
I would like to see if there is any interest before I make a dozen of these things. Price TBD but somewhere in the $100 to $150 dollar range depending on various things. This is for the 87 up cars only.
