1000 HP FITTING PICTURES !!!!!

Race Car
The only problem is that the head would most likely be setup to be able to run that much HP through it. I would maybe look at a stock honda and then I think we would be comparing close to apples (although the hondas head would still greatly outflow per cc)
I guess I just leave it at this: IMO no matter what the system is, this (this thread) engine will never get close to 1000 hp. People can take it for whatever they want but I HAVE ran big nitrous hp cars and there is a point of diminishing return when it comes to nitrous no matter how good the engine is. This is the very reason I have seen so many of my old racer friends go to a big turbo over nitrous. Whether it is a 540 inch motor or a 300 inch nitrous once you get to the point of trying to run more nitrous than the engine (headflow and other parts) is comfortable with, they will explode. If this was not the case you would see many more nitrous cars winning the TAD races but they don't.
I really can't believe that I am arguing this point b/c I was once a huge nitrous advocate but through experience I have found out the hard way. Many times . Here is my last car and the engine that was in it
have fun no matter what the outcome

Brett...
Just a warning. I clicked on the link you posted originally to see the photo's in your image shack. Immediately after that, 6 windows opended up and attempting to connect to other sites.
You may want to check who is hosting your photos for you..
Good luck on the build.... nice pics nevertheless.

Thats not as silly as it sounds lol
When I do my 200 plus runs I will switch on the Nitrous in either 3rd or top...
And the way that 1/4 went ...it may well have to be top only...

With LSD, won't he just be fisthtailing down the runway?
At least with only 1 tire smoking, the back end stays behind the front wheels, I think.

I agree with Ernest (and I run a spool in two of my cars), until he goes progressive the one wheel peel might be safer. Sure two will get him to 200 faster or death as he looses control. What type of tire are you running? Have you thought about a drag radial or a DOT race tire?

Hi
As my attempts at 200 mph plus are from a rolling start (think 70 to 90 mph ish), I dont need drag radials...
I am running big Falkens on the back which overdrive my gearing/diff by 7%...

It will help a lot. Right now he’s spinning that single tire like Bill did on the burnout video. Under same power and LSD, there would be very little tire spin. My experience is that it will reduce tire spin to ¼ of what it was with open differential. Now I know that you probably mean that at 1000hp, it won’t make a difference, and I agree. But at least it should help before he goes over 500.
