Brett,

Looks impressive, far more involved than what I used to run on my mustang 15+ years ago.

I hope you are tuning the NOS controller and A/F's on a dyno, not at the airstrip at 150+mph. Good luck with the run, and please get it on video.

Be safe,

Jim

Wow - very cool.

Any difference between the red / blue canisters in the engine bay other than color?

Good luck!

Awesome...

Even if there are problems, I love to see engines pushed to the limit.
Find out how strong the 928 engine really is.

I know we've seen some head gaskets blow, but has anyone actually broken their bottom end? I'd love to see what kind of power the block, pistons, crank, rods, etc, can handle.
And this is the perfect test.
Slowly increasing the power...

I really hope it all holds together, and you put down some awesome numbers!

So what's the deal with the giant breather hose?
Is it just going to a catch can?

Hi

Red solenoids = Fuel
Blue solenoids = Nitrous

Each solenoid is capable of running 250 minimum.....

therefore 4 Fuel Solenoids @ 250 hp = 1000 hp

also 4 Nitrous Solenoids @250 hp = 1000 hp

So 2 red and 2 blue on each bank of the V8 , to provide 500 hp per bank...

Hopefully lol

The only real problem we had was deciding to not use just the left hand fuel rail to provide the extra fuel, in the end we tapped the right hand fuel rail and fitted a take off there as well so each rail will act as a reservoir for initial take up on launch.

All the best Brett

Hi

Yes, very good guess

Catch can is correct, with Nitrous running mine breathes a LOT of oil......and as I think the people behind me like to see,, I use a catch can , I am going to tidy all that piping up soon lol

I am willing to bet that your fuel pump will not have the capacity or capability to provide enough fuel for the horsepower levels you are trying to attain. Just another little thing to look at...

Best of luck Brett - Just in case, you better suit up in a Nomex suit.

Yeah, a big, high-capacity aftermarket fuel pump would be an EXCELLENT idea.

Brett do me a favor and bolt or screw thoat bottle bracket down to something other than the back of the rear seats. heaven forbid if you hit something but those bottles are missles waiting to hit you in the back of the head in a wreck.
daughters high school friend was damn near killed by an audio amplifier that he screwed down to the rear deck when he rear-ended someone. it ripped loose and hit him in the back of the neck and head..

lots of stuff in there man, i willing to say it should haul some ***..
good luck and PLEASE BY SOME DEGREASER AND WASH THAT ENGINE BAY..
