After watching Tony fishtail wildly down the street with his LSD and not accelerating very fast due to lack of control over direction, perhaps the open diff might be safer than the Porsche LSD and possibly faster for this purpose.

Just like when Humongous cracked open the N2O bottle in Mad Max II: The Road Warrior. If I’m not mistaken, his car also had an open differential.

Funny seeing the lineman peer into your hatch...
wonder what could have possibly caught his attention?

Brett--

What's the timetable for your record run? With all the work you've done and the build-up here, we're all interested in seeing the results of your work.

Hi Bob

Still some electronics to finish (around a month) then it will be ready, but the main problem is finding somewhere to allow me to do it with my noise levels...

Most places that have a long enough runway are limited to 98 Db.....and mine is more like 120 lol

If I cannot find anywhere by the end of the year, I may have to take a trip to Germany to the derestricted Autobahns with a video camera to aim at a GPS Speed screen.....

I really don't want to do it that way as its much more dangerous, but may have no choice

All the best Brett

Brett--

Why not get the thing quiet? This is your street car so it will have quiet exhaust for the drive there and back anyway. I can't imagine that there's a need for the few extra ponies with all the NOS you are pouring in the front of the motor. Thought about just doing a Kibort? Drive there, offload your in-car stuff, add helmet, gloves and firesuit, go stand on it for a minute or so. Pick up your trophy after you repack the chute, load your in-car stuff back in and head home. All in quiet street trim.

JMHO, but...
Bad move Brent, keep it on a closed course to ensure your and everyone else's safety.

I'm with Bob, I don't think a muffler is going to cost you the run, maybe just cause you to take longer to get there.

Hi Bob

Wont work I am afraid...

That 120 Db ...IS in street trim, its how I use it every day...

For the sort of massive Nitrous I am using ...I "NEED" the straight through capacity of a loud system...

All the best Brett
