I got the area around the oil passage between the oil pump and pickup tube and the one side of the flywheel, but somehow missed the arrow in the picture that points to the other side of the flywheel. Gonna have to buy more loctite 574 if I keep having to reseal stuff.

Well today was the first day that I was forced not to drive my 944. On saturday had my first D.E. with the car. WOW so much fun. really got to get an understanding on how well these cars handle. Even though I was in the novice I has a great time until my fourth run of the day. Two laps in I spun and did the clutch in. I was able to limp the car home and sulk. Owell. Save some $$$$$ and get it fixed. It was the last de till October.

Cleaned my centre caps, stripped the old paint, filled a couple of nicks, and prepped them for painting with 2 coats of primer. And ordered supplies for a DIY Design 90 wheel refurb all round.
Now I'm trying to decide whether to keep the centre caps silver, or paint the crests gold, red and black - my first thought was to go for the coloured crests, but now I look at them in flat grey I'm inclined to keep it old school. The way those older caps are countoured means that the paint won't sit on the black and red areas as neatly as the newer caps, plus it all has to be super-tidy in order to look right I think.
