Ben. That looks fantastic. Let us know how it stands up to "street" use. The clear plastic sure would make mounting it easier when you can see when planning!

I did something similar to my "non P car" (280z) I went back even further. I took it all the way back to the tranny. It sure made a noticeable difference in highspeed stability and underhood temps.

The wheels? They were a pretty good deal, they're not new so they do have some wear on them with one having some minor curb damage.

what is the purpose of a ballbearing setup for the rear arms?

The OEM Guide Arms feature rubber bearings that tend to wear out with time and in general are too soft for sport or racing applications.

well... I bought a 944 on Wednesday.
Didn`t pass the technical inspection right away (I have 30 days driving permit now and time to fix everything).
The same evening I removed taillights and wiped the water out of them :-D
Fastened battery bolts.
Today I got the driver`s seat moving, with a help of your forum
And recovered that the salon heating blows only hot air, can`t get any cool air out of it (any idea what`s the problem?).

This is quite a common problem. There's good information about heater problems at http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/hvac-01.htm. When it happened to my 944 it was caused by the plastic clip breaking, and was simple to fix.

Finally! My wheel adapters arrived yesturday from 944online.com (thanks guys!)
I couldn't wait for the weekend, so I pulled the Zed out of the garage so I could work on getting the old wheels off, adapters on, and new wheels on. Thank goodness for the torque wrench! So much easier and safer than guessing. It was a bit of a challenge doing the fronts, as I had to jam the hub from turning when torquing the wheel adapters. It all went smoothly. Took it out for a quick spin before it rained to try them out.
I would have put on 17's except that I had already purchased new 16" rubber to safety the car 2 months ago. Lessons learned I suppose.

That car had grown on me big time. When I first saw the pictures I was unsure but now
