Yesterday I put in the Weltmeister spring front struts and engine brace I got out of trade with a buddy for my standard struts. Will lower the car about 1 1/4 inches in the front.
Got a free Weltmeister cargo brace also but not sure if it will be installed or not yet.

Started parting my 944 out today, got most of the rear end gutted, found out I have an LSD transaxle which was nice and will increase its sale value. Also found I have an interesting seat option and considering my seats are in perfect condition this might add value to them as well. Why is taking this car appart so rewarding when fixing it never was? Baffles me...

I will take pics if needed on Friday when I am back in my shop. But here is the link to the 'current' version of this on the Weltmeister site. Called a bolt in harness bar. When given to me my dumb a** thought it was some kind of clothing hanging bar.

I picked the 12 mm spacers I needed to lower the crossmember and right now I'm waiting for the propane heater to warm the garage so i can start forming the styrofoam blocks into an oil tank for the dry sump. Once it's formed then I hand lay carbon fiber and resin and when it's all done then I drop a little acetone into the form and the styrofoam is disolved and i'm left with a tank. Thats the theory anyway. I'm taking pics so I'll post the project when it's done.
