Replaced an older set of coilovers with new Ground Control setup - need to find a good alignment shop and give this car a good bath - been sitting way too long

Pulled out my heater blower motor out of the cowl of the '83 today. Hope to get the heater hoses out and replaced tomorrow. Also I will be working on the clutch and TT stuff as well. HB Motor seems to run fine and is quiet..just a little more clean up and it should be ready to go back in..
Finished cleaning up the fan motor and armature and commutator inside the motor. nice big hole in it for airflow, I guess. Put it back together and re-tested it. still runs nice a quietly. Worked on the heater hose removal project some more today. Somebody that designed this should be shot. At least they corrected the pblm on the later cars. Hmmmm...wonder if the heater cores are interchangeable from early to late?? Further checking required. Thanks.
After two weeks of waiting for parts, I got my car back on the road.
The CV joint replacements came in the mail yesterday, and I spent an hour or two more than it should have taken to get them packed with grease and installed. The left rear tire deflated a significant amount as the car sat, so I decided to go ahead and get all the tires changed, which I knew I'd have to do sooner or later.
Today I found some BF Goodrich Advantage T/As, got them installed, and had alignment checked. Evidently the toe on the right rear has been adjusted as far as it can be and still isn't perfect. Guess there's another trip to the alignment shop in the future... But everything is either within spec or very close, and the old tires showed no signs of wearing unevenly.
The good news is the knocking sound is gone for now (see this post). I'll wash her tomorrow, and Friday I run her up 101 to Arcata. Should be a fun ride!

Not interchangeable between housings..
It *is* possible to fit the late heater/AC assembly into an early body, but then you need to swap the dash out and some stuff underneath as well.
If you search under the username "Marcquito" you'll find an old thread where a guy did a early to late dash swap...it was pretty involved.
I have this exact same set up, but I mounted my camber plates under the fender. How did you get them to mount on top? That's what I tried originally, but for some reason (I forget the reason) it wouldn't work.
It's at the point where I can put the car into 2nd gear at ~10 mph and take my foot completely off the gas pedal. On a flat surface at ~1000rpm, the engine is making enough torque to maintain ~10mph without bucking or surging...foot nowhere near the gas pedal. Just a nice burble
Chunkers - Not sure how this would fit underneath the fender. I did take the 4 allen head bolts off to separate the plate from the strut, placed the mounting studs from underneath, then placed the plate on top. Do you have a picture of yours?

There are two different versions of the Ground Control camber plate - one that is designed to fit on top of the fender, like yours, and one that mounts underneath. The top-mount version gives you more clearance for lowering the ride height and costs a little more. I don't think the two are interchangeable.
Got the 944 a new playmate/support vehicle today... '99 4Runner limited, with the towing package for those 944 ownership moments, and for track events. The AC is STUPID cold in these things, it's like Mr. Freeze personally designed it.
