What did you do to your 924/944 today

Nordschleife Master
Replaced my power steering pump, the old one fell off two weeks back (mounting hole was stripped). If I can get the brakes done this week /weekend the 951 should be road worthy enough to get inspected and put back on the road.
Also started playing around with wet sanding, it is going to be a long slow process but the paint might turn out decent in the end.

Thx for asking...picked her up today with a new (used) tranny, changed all belts, rollers and seals, put slave cyl. in and adjused my hack job on the clutch master, finally installed ss brake lines, flush 'n' fill ... and she's running like new, better than when I got it 3yrs ago. A couple of gears busted, old age, on the pinion shaft inside the tranny and stuck to the little magnet inside bottom and so was driveable, short term.
...all thanks to Jack at Gtek

Drifting
Installed a fairly new Bosch coil I aquired from the Duck. Tooks about 10 minutes to change out the original (25 years old). Engine started right up ans seems to idle 100 rpm higher. Can't wait to road test it.

Yesterday I removed the interior in prep for a complete rewire. Took some panoramic pictures with the cell phone to display the carnage.
The second load pulled out after the dash:
And last week got the motor pulled and on a stand.

Installed battery cutoff. Had it from a VW Baja bug project that never got installed. So I installed it on this car.
I have to replace it with a 6-pole switch to make a true kill switch for the track, but the hole pattern is the same so it will be an easy upgrade.
Plus one more layer of theft protection when I want it, and easy to shut off the battery when working on the car, just flip the switch rather than disconnecting the negative lead. I have a spare plastic key so I am not stranded if some jackazz swipes it in a parking lot.

Nearly ripped off my front lower valance backing out of someones driveway as it caught the curb. Now I have to get it repainted because all of the paint chipped off and had to rebend it back into place with some body tools and a BFH.
Lesson learned: Just because your 951 isn't lowered, doesn't mean you can drive it like it's a Camry.
