swapped passenger door switch with one from my parts car. my drivers side one had fallen apart ages ago and i replaced that with a new one and my passenger one looked fine but it was shorting. now my interior lights work and my car alarm senses the doors are all closed and the alarm courtesy light works.
replaced my passengers carpet in the foot well where the bonnet release is. if you dont know the RHD cars still have the catch on the left.
at the same time, i fixed the bonnet catch housing with more pieces from my parts car. my alarm installer broke the piece that covers the hinge for the handle.
Also topped up oil, coolant, power steering, cleaned interior, etc.

Finished bolting up my sway bar to the frame and control arms, finding and re-fitting loosened vacuum lines, plugs/wires/cap/rotor kit, and custom-fabbing new AOS/CV hoses after the originals blew.
Also prepped for new sunroof lifting cable/gear assembly to be installed.

I made a pair of front sway bar braces yesterday. It wasn't too hard, it was actually a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. While I was in there I noticed the stock sway bar bushings are very soft, too soft.

my high stop light and rear wiper for my new hatch got wired today.
also, for the hatch carpet where it clips in with domes over the back of the tail lights, i moved the most outer ones outboard another 20mm so they match the domes of my 968 hatch carpet. It looks really good.

My carpet arrived..though it was almost 40 degrees with the humidity, and I just didn't feel like dripping sweat all over the new carpet..The install will be delayed for cooler weather.

Replaced lower radiator hose which had been sawed through by the p/s pulley and belt.
Luckily my FLAPS had the hose (Gates) one day away in Phoenix, so the car was only down 2 days.
Amazing how long that felt....

I re-fitted my LR boost enhancer and went for a run to see if I could feel the difference(I could).
My mechanic left it off when he replaced my turbo. When I got my car back it just didn't seem to be as quick as I remembered, but as it took a few months, and I drove a lot of cars in between so I wasn't sure.
Anyway fitting the BE got my car back to how I remember it being and it is spooling up a lot quicker. It also looks like it is producing more boost, going off the factory dash boost gauge.
When I first fitted the BE I also replaced a lot of leaking vacuum lines at the same time, so wasn't sure how much difference the BE had made on its own but now I can confidently say it's a great addition to what is basically just a chipped stock car

Just drove the car around to run some errands. Then to an exhaust shop to check out the underside of the car for leaks/etc... discovered the starter's heat shield had a piece broken off which was vibrating. $10 later it was welded back together and I talked to the tech about 924's 944's and 968's. He was pretty amazed at how everything was put together from the engine to the trans.

Ditch698,when the PS pulley cut through my 944 lower hose a few yrs back , I replaced it and cut a 3" straight section of the old hose , split it and used this as a wrap around sheild held in place with blk tie wrap. Also as Im sure you did I pushed the PS pump as far back as possible while maintaining correct belt alingment.
