I stared at the power steering rack trying to decide whether or not I should drop it to get at the banjo bolts etc in order to stop the leaks. I'm finding it hard to reach in with an allen key.
I've searched this forum et al for suggestions but it seems to be a 50/50 split regarding removal or not.
Any tips appreciated.

not done today, but in the last several months have replaced the axles, clutch slave/master, fuel filter, fp check valve, neg battery lead, dme temp sensor, oil cooler seals, 4 (yes 4) radiator fittings to the expansion tank, air filter, wipers, plugs (one blew the ceramic portion of the plug and was twisting around--it blew the plug lead off). going to tackle replacing the speed/ref sensor connectors this weekend (hopefully this will fix my intermittent no start problem. still dealing w/poor mpg (dropped from 390+ a tank to barely getting 320 a tank).

I fitted a carbon fibre dash kit and black suede gear lever boot
I am really happy with how it looks. The gloss of the trim really lifts the interior IMO, and I went for the suede to contrast all the gloss.

I organized a Lunch / drive yesterday, My luck the night before my alternator died. Thankfully my ebay and reenlist addiction has helped, I already had a rebuilt one ready to go in. I woke up at 5am and started the install. Taking off the old alternator in the dark took a long time, once the sun came up I had the old one off and was installing the new one. I had the car warming up by 7:30.
Here are some pictures of our drive, I did not take anyone with me so I only have a few from the start and the finish.

I went with 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 I also went with continental extreme contact dw's I have to say they are amazing tires in the rain or dry conditions
also going from the 15" to the 17' My speedometer is still correct
