Is that the nose off your turbo? Are you not fixing it now? Looks good.

Pulled the tranny for a "new to me" transmission w/LSD, dropped the rear suspension for new torsion bars and bushings.....

Tonight I mounted up a set of wheels I picked off ebay yesterday, guy was a local seller so I picked them up on a whim. I prefer OEM wheels, but these were near perfect (as were the tires).

There is a little rubbing on the right rear, so there is some fender rolling in my future. Given that the car is being painted in the next couple weeks I can be a bit aggressive and not worry too much about cracking the paint.

I did, it ended up being the positive lead running from the battery to the starter. She now starts up on the first crank, and runs like a champ.

Not sure when exactly she is going in for paint, but after that she will be ready for prime time. I still need to source some carpet for the back, but other than that and a few other small things the cosmetics will be done (968 mirros and door handles getting painted and installed as well).

got the build sheets from two engine shops on a toned down Z06/LS7 block w/ 4.125" bore and 3.662" stroke using LS3 heads/intake netting 388 c.i.

need yours all's help deciding between that and a regular crate LS3 (quick poll).

I'm honestly a big fan of the crate LS3's with custom headers, injectors and exhaust. The factory internals are fantastic.

That and the money you save can be spent ensuring the rest of the task is completed to absolute perfection.

Joka your cars coming along nicely mate. Good to see.

Ian those wheels look great. They look like twists with a more modern design
