I raced my friends mustang with "like 12k under the hood dood" in the n/a just for the heck of it. I had a bit of a rolling start but still it took him until like 3rd gear to really start pulling away from me. I don't think I've ever had such a big smile on my face

was it a 2.3L NA foxbody, with $12k in cash under the hood?
a 944NA will take V6-thru-2010 mustang no problem...but putting any sort of money into a 'stang will create a monster that the p-car cant touch...

I don't know what the deal was, but it was a 4th gen v8. He bought it the way it is, sounds like 12k may have been an exaggeration

maybe the money was spent removing cylinders

Replaced the coil and then thoroughly enjoyed driving around with the top down.

Well now I feel stupid having replaced all the cooling hoses on the front of the motor an having purchased and not installed new heater hoses at the back, I pull up at a customer to find steam, nice crack in one of the heater hoses dripping onto the exhaust

its a PITA to change those, gotta pull the dash and the fresh air fan...i didnt even have my engine in my car and it was still hard
